What the HECK is this all about?

Clik to Funnies, or c.t/f as it is also referred to, was dreamed up by myself, Eric Lindgren, after spending a great deal of time one day trying to amuse myself by reading various webcomics and wishing I could get three or four of them on a page at the same time.

This line of thought got me to thinking. Still wanting some amusement, I challenged myself to create a site of self-updating cartoons and features that would have three or four titles on a single page. I figured not only would I get my wish, but a few others out there might enjoy it as well.

I found the greatest challenge in locating active cartoons whose page coding made them usable for my purposes. Getting permission to use them proved the simplest of tasks. After keeping tabs on some of the toons for a month or so I found I had to drop a few and go find some replacements.

So far I have been fortunate to find about fourteen cartoons and the 'Bravenet.com' stable of self-updating features to include. There are some toons I still have on a 'inactivity watch' that may still be cycled out. I am constantly looking for more and have even included a 'Toon Submitter' for those who wish to suggest a title for inclusion into these pages.

Whether or not this 'experiment' catches on, I have had a great deal of fun putting it together.
